Want a Newspapering Opportunity? Then Try India
The outlook for newspapers in the USA might not be great, but what about else where? One former Wall Street Journal editor is about to find out.
Nikhil Moro writes as the introduction of an on-line interview:
It is not only…engineers who are moving back to India. Some journalists are too. Raju Narisetti, editor of the Wall Street Journal Europe and deputy managing editor of the Wall Street Journal, flies to New Delhi on June 3 with a special briefâto set up a new business newspaper for HT Media Ltd, publishers of the Hindustan Times.
It’s an interesting interview about cultural differences and how they affect newspaper reading habits and opportunities.
Moro is a colleague of mine at Kennesaw State University, and there is a good chance you will be hearing a bit more about India at PJNet. Later this summer I will be visiting India, so be prepared for the occassional post and Vlog.
Want to live forever? Be sure to watch my vlogs because as my son says about mid-way through them time seems to stop. Here is the latest vlog.
