Earlier I wrote about free access to WiFi and in the comments Matt Cook pointed me to The Wi-Fi-FreeSpot Directory. It’s a good resource for free hot spots.
Then I found that Austin, Texas, has a free WiFi movement underway at The Partners in Free WiFi , also the Austin Free-Net and finally Austin Wireless City. They are all nonprofits aiming to bridge the digital divide.
As you might know, the Harnisch Foundation under the direction of Ruth Ann Harnisch gave us a substantial gift to start the Center for for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University. We are up and running. Keep abreast of what is happening at SustainableJournalism.org
