How to Construct an Open Source News Story

In Part VI of Jay Rosen Speaks, Rosen explains how an open source news story for Newassignment.net might be reported and written. The key is having a variety of contributors, while testing for veracity. Using a specific case, he explains how a possible Newassignment.net and BBC collaborative project on the integrity of elections worldwide might be assembled.

This is Part VI of a series of edited segments from a talk Rosen gave at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society. The talk centers on his experimental Newassignment.net project. These segments are edited by Leonard Witt from the original production by Colin Rhinesmith
