Bloggers Offered Press Freedom Day Materials

Want to run an intervew with the Dalai Lama or Mariane Pearl, the wife of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, on your weblog? You can thanks to the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) and a little thank you to the PJNet.

Wan is offering newspapers around the world interviews, photos, graphics, cartoons and background information promoting World Press Freedom Day on May 3, 2004.

The PJNet asked if bloggers could also use the materials, and here was the response:

Bloggers are free to use the material on the World Press Freedom Day web site as long as they credit WAN. We would also appreciate if they add a link to our web site. The materials are in English, Spanish, French, German and Russian.

Here is the WAN website where the materials are available.
