July Launch for Huffington, Rosen’s OfftheBus.net

The Huffington Post and Jay Rosen will be launching their offthebus.net site in mid July. Here is the information from the sign-up page:

Come fall, campaign junkies will have yet another way to get their political news, one that will rely largely on ordinary citizens, not political reporters or media pundits. Arianna Huffington, of the Huffington Post, and Jay Rosen, a journalism professor at New York University, are collaborating on a Web site they are calling “offthebus.net,” in which bloggers will cover the top six candidates in each party. If you’d like to be involved as a contributor, send your name, contact info, and a bit about your own interests in campaign coverage to campaigntrail@huffingtonpost.com. To keep updated about the project sign up for the mailing list.

Here is Rosen’s full explanation.

I would have linked to Huffington’s pages, but ever since May 25, I cannot access any Huffington page after that date from my computer. I have emailed them, deleted cookies, trying to fix the problem but alas am not sure what is going on. And have gotten no response from the Huffington post. Maybe they are too busy for the B-listers.

Update: Got a response from Huffington Post, about what we all agree is a weird problem and they are looking for a solution. That’s good, I enjoy their site. Anyone else have this problem?
