Tanni Haas Writes New Book on Public Journalism
The Pursuit of Public Journalism: Theory, Practice, and Criticism, a book by Tanni Haas, a Brooklyn College professor and public journalism scholar, has just been released by Routledge. Haas has been one of the most consistent public journalism scholars and this is a one more piece in a long continuum of work on the subject. I personally know that he has been watching the PJNet.org site for months as he has done his research and I have been feeding him names and contacts of new practitioners, especially those from outside the USA, as they write inquiries to me.
I hope to post a review here in the weeks to come. Of course, if anyone else wants to volunteer to do that first. Great. I would love it.
