Second Draft PNet Toronto Conference

I got great feedback on the PJNet August 3 conference outline that I posted earlier. Given the feedback, I have made some fairly radical changes. I think it is much stronger. Weblogs* are not as prominent, but electronic citizen publishing is and face-to-face community and public journalism get some more time. I also made it more participatory. You all know too much to be just listening to talking heads all afternoon. We are still working on the evening session and waiting on our possible partner. More on that later. But I like the look of the working sessions much better than in the first draft. Question is: Do You?

Any how, take a look at the second draft and make comments right here or just email me.

*Fear not blog lovers. The Civic Journalism Interest Group, of which I am the chair, is co-hosting a 90-minutes session on weblogs 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 6 at the greater Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) convention also in Toronto. So they will be well covered.
