Skill Sets Journalism Grads Will Need
There is a series of video interviews at MediaShift that every aspiring journalist should watch. Most are saying be an ethical, skilled journalist first but understand the changing landscape and be able to use some of the new tools.
If most the of the answers are predictable, Len Brody, CEO and co-founder of NowPublic.com, takes a different track when he says the most important skill will be teaching students how to market themselves. Here is his sequence and after that Robert Scoble, director of Fast Company TV, talking about what he calls Journalism Plus.
