A European View of American Media

Francisco Seoane, with the encouragement of the PJNet, began blogging this weekend at his new site: The Amazed Owl: A European View of the American Media Landscape.
Seoane lives in northern Spain and since he never has visited the states his impressions of America are dependent mostly upon the media and books.
However, in August he will start a Masters Program in Communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago. So it will be interesting to watch how his media made impressions of America actually stack up to the reality he encounters when he arrives here. And, of course, it will be equally interesting to see how his European view of the American media might change or stay the same.
