Supreme Court Justice Souter’s N.H. House vs. My N.H. House
So the year was 1992, my wife and I had always wanted to buy a farmhouse in New Hampshire. But alas the prices were always too high, then a great recession hit New England and the prices dropped just enough that we could afford our retirement house. We bought the red house below; back then it was was covered in peeling yellow paint. We rented it out almost the day we bought it and in the 17 years we have owned it my wife and spent four days in it. All the other time it has been rented out.
Okay, compare Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter’s home in New Hampshire and ours. Which would you pick? We own the red one.
