When the flood waters began rising late this week in Northfield, Minnesota, Griff Wigley, who runs the Northfield.org community oriented site, took digital camera in hand and ran to the river. See his two plus days of coverage.
The word got out and he says visits to his weblog spiked because it was the best place to see how things were unfolding. With the pictures he included weather maps and running commentary.
