Frank Denton, a longtime public journalism advocate at the Wisconsin State Journal, has been named new editor of the Tampa Tribune. Gil Thelen, another longtime public journalist, is president and publisher of the Tribune.

Leonard Witt is the Robert D. Fowler Distinguished Chair in Communication at Kennesaw State University and the chief blogger of PJNet.
