Is Webblogging a Useful Journalism Teaching Tool?

Kim E. Pearson, professor at The College of New Jersey, has built a poster webpage that seeks to answer the questions: Is “Weblogging” a Useful Way for Student Journalists to Improve Beat Reporting Skills?

She says in an email: Please note that the blogging poster is very much a work in progress. I have a lot of updating to do with it yet. I’m very interested in feedback. I should mention, also, that the blogging on the beat project was conducted under the aegis of the Visible Knowledge Project.

The “poster page” structure is very interesting and appears to have a great potential as a teaching tool and a way of exchanging information on any topic. Thanks Kim.
