Washington Hispanic Newspaper and Noticias Univision Washington announced a partnership with Kettering Foundation to develop a series of reports and town hall meetings intended to unite the local Hispanic community in confronting the gang problem. With “Saving our youth,” the partners will combine news resources with the idea of stimulating community involvement to search for root causes of youth participation in local Latin gangs and its possible solutions.
