Town Hall Meetings to unite the local Hispanic community in confronting the gang problem

Join hundreds of Washington, D.C. metropolitan area residents, local authorities and community leaders who will gather at the Town Hall Meeting in Washington, D.C. to find ways of confronting the wave of gang violence affecting the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

Washington Hispanic Newspaper and Noticias Univision Washington announced a partnership with Kettering Foundation to develop a series of reports and town hall meetings intended to unite the local Hispanic community in confronting the gang problem. With “Saving our youth,” the partners will combine news resources with the idea of stimulating community involvement to search for root causes of youth participation in local Latin gangs and its possible solutions.
