Class Hosts Religion, News Credibility Roundtable

Students in my journalism and community class at Kennesaw State University are running an Associated Press Managing Editors National Credibility Roundtable today with the public and reporters and editors from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. We are one of a handful of universities nationwide selected to do so.

The students have put together the entire project from finding a venue to hiring a caterer to moderating the event.

I have to run. I have to be there as they set things up. Here is some more information:

The topic is Covering the Intersection of Religion and Education. The class did a mock roundtable last Friday, and even shot photos and video to see how that works. Several students are putting together a mini-documentary, rather than write a paper.

So when that video is done, I’ll post it. Plus I might do my own little Vlog.
