Civic mapping is an important part of civic journalism. Soon I am going to try to do an update on some of the possibilities. For now I just want to book mark this new innovation, at which I can find my old aparment at 96th and Amsterdam in New York City, this crime map in Chicago and this real estate map.
I do this because I like to use my blog as a public file cabinet, which I can dip back into when I want to develop an idea.
As you might know, the Harnisch Foundation under the direction of Ruth Ann Harnisch gave us a substantial gift to start the Center for for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University. We are up and running. Keep abreast of what is happening at SustainableJournalism.org
