NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — The former CEO of research firm Roper ASW and author of the book “Influentials,” is starting a company to measure how everyday in-person conversations shape buying behavior.

Now there is even a Word of Mouth Marketing Association, a blog, and a Word of Mouth Basic Training conference.
