My Summer: Teaching Teachers to Use Weblogs
Two colleagues here at Kennesaw State University, Dr. Earl Holliday and Mike Keleher, and I have received a $46,000 No Child Left Behind Grant to teach language arts teachers in the Cobb County and Marietta City Schools how to use weblogs in the classroom.
It is an exciting year-long project with a centerpiece being a weeklong workshop for 30 teachers this summer. We have recruited Will Richardson, author of the book Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms, and Anne Davis, blogger at EduBlog Insights and consultant, to be guest speakers.
Here is a press release explaining the full project.
