I’m at the We Media Conference in London
For those of you think that the USA is ahead of the rest of the world, think again. Here is proof. I am on my way to the We Media conference in London and flying British Airways. Alas, they still serve free drinks on board in economy class. I had a nice single malt scotch before dinner and then wine with dinner. Very civilized and very free.
Starting Wednesday, I will do some blogging from the We Media conference. The first day will be at the BBC Television Centre and the second day at Reuters Global Headquarters. It is sponsored by the Media Center at the America Press Institute. Lots of top notch thinkers from around the world. Here is a story today from the BBC. I will have more tomorrow.
Oh, yes, one another insight. I live in Cobb County, Georgia, where there was a big flap in the schools about evolution as only a theory. I arrive here, use the ATM machine and lo and behold amongst the money is a 10-pound note with the Queen on one side, on the flip side, guess who, Charles Darwin.
