I once was assigning editor for medical and science journalists. That causes me to pay a little attention to an emerging biotech park in Winston-Salem, not too far from the campus of the small college where I teach. Linking people interested in science and technology across the state of North Carolina, or a region of the country, or the nation, is a perfect project for "representative journalism."
